A hair transplant involves the removal of a portion of your hair and its subsequent implantation in areas of your scalp that have lost hair.  Hair transplants come in two main varieties. 

Your budget, your preferred hairstyle, and the amount of time you're prepared to spend on the operating table will all influence the best technique for you.  Hair transplant Lahore may have adverse consequences, some of which may be severe, just like any other procedure.

Hair Transplant Lahore: What To Expect

Your scalp could feel quite sensitive after the procedure.  For a few days, you might need to take painkillers.  For at least a day or two, your surgeon will have you cover your scalp with bandages.

 Additionally, they could recommend an antibiotic or an anti-inflammatory medication for you to take for a few days.  After the procedure, most people may resume their jobs two to five days later.

 The transplanted hair will fall out two to three weeks following surgery, but new hair should begin to grow in a few months.  60% of new hair will develop in most people after 6 to 9 months. 

Although its effectiveness is unknown, some surgeons recommend the hair-growing medication minoxidil (Rogaine) to promote hair growth following transplantation.

Days 1 to 3 after the procedure

Since the hair follicles are adjusting to their new surroundings, the first few days after hair transplant surgery are the most crucial. 

General side effects including swelling, redness, itching, or soreness near the transplant site are likely after a hair replacement.  Additionally, 24 to 72 hours following surgery, scabs will develop on the graft sites.  These responses are common and usually go away fast.

 Since a hair transplant is a less invasive operation, you should be able to resume your job the next day.  But you might want to let your skin and scalp a few days to recover.  The day following surgery, some people resume light work, but most would rather take at least two to three days off.

Tenderness, itching, redness, numbness, and moderate discomfort are possible side effects in the weeks after a hair transplant. 

After a day or two, the typical patient experiences relatively mild symptoms.  Some transplant patients treat their symptoms with over-the-counter drugs like ibuprofen and paracetamol.

 Patients may also have forehead or donor region edema over the first three days.  Your doctor will prescribe medicine and talk about solutions.

Days 4-10 after your hair transplant

Your scalp should no longer be puffy at this stage of the healing process, and any redness should be minimal or gone entirely.  Throughout this period, the doctor would instruct his patients to wet their graft crusts completely before gently wiping them off with their fingers.  After your FUE hair transplant, all crusts should disappear 10 to 12 days later.

Hair transplant after 2 weeks

More alterations will have occurred two weeks following your hair transplant.

 You may still have some redness and itching when the scabs come off spontaneously, even though the healing process will be well under way and the swelling should have decreased.  This is a typical healing phase for hairline transplants.

 Exercise will be less likely to irritate your scalp, and you should have little trouble sleeping in any posture.

 The recipient region may begin to shed some hair at this point, which is a perfectly natural aspect of the hair development cycle.  The follicles are producing new hair, which will ultimately start to grow.

You should get back to your regular routines, exercise, and take a bath to assist the scabs come off your head at this period.  Any residual scabs should not be picked off.

Hair transplant after 1 month

More hair will ultimately fall out (exogen) in the recipient location after entering the resting (telogen) phase.  This is the primary underlying mechanism that causes hair loss following a hair transplant. 

The recipient region of your scalp may appear to be growing patchily, but this is not a reason for alarm because the hairs there are at different phases of the development cycle.  New hair should have already grown and covered the donor location.

 At this stage of the hair transplant Lahore process, you should get in touch with your clinic if you see any indications of ongoing inflammation, such as skin that is still extremely red and hot to the touch.  Your transplanted hair will naturally fall out as part of the healing process, so don't worry about it.

Finally, Hair transplant after 3 months

You should anticipate seeing your new hairs grow in the third month.  These new hairs are probably going to look "wispy," thin, and nearly translucent.  Their immaturity is the cause of this.

 You should remain patient as your new hair develops gradually.  These new hairs may resemble body hair, so you shouldn't be alarmed by their presence.  Your hair will become stronger and thicker over time.
